Founders & Lead Pastors
Pastors Cory and Lakota Street are the founders and lead pastors of Overflow Church in Conover, North Carolina. Their greatest passion is creating a place where people from every walk of life can encounter the life-changing presence of Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and experience the fullness of life found in Him.
With a heart for authentic ministry, Cory and Lakota are committed to building a church that is rooted in God's Word, led by the Holy Spirit, and known for loving people well. They believe the local church should be a place where families are strengthened, the next generation is empowered, lives are transformed, and every person has the opportunity to belong before they believe.
Together, they have served in ministry for many years in a variety of leadership roles, giving them a deep passion for shepherding people, developing leaders, and equipping the Church to make a lasting impact in the community and beyond.
Outside of ministry, Cory and Lakota's greatest joy is their family. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children and understand both the joys and challenges of everyday life. Their own journey has been marked by seasons of incredible blessing, deep loss, unwavering faith, and the faithfulness of God through it all. Those experiences have shaped their compassionate, genuine approach to ministry and their desire to walk alongside others through every season of life.
Their prayer is that every person who walks through the doors of Overflow Church encounters the presence of God in a real and life-changing way. They believe His presence changes everything—and that's what they are believing for every Sunday, every gathering, and every life He entrusts to their care.
